It's almost Friday! Ahhh! Excitement!
I'm super excited to share this adorable little Mommy & Me consignment shop, I had the pleasure of visiting last week in Walnut Creek! It's called A Wee Change, and it's definitely a wee bit cute.
A Wee Change is sort of off the beaten path, several miles from the freeway, but it's a lovely little drive. The classic quietness of Walnut Creek is very enjoyable, so I savor those little drives, away from the literally CRAZY Cali traffic.
When I walked in, I was very surprised at their large clothes selection! It's a smaller shop, but it was practically stuffed with clothes. They had tons of kiddo outfits, ranging from NB to size 14/16. Oh my goodness y'all, some of the little girl dresses were to die for! It doesn't help my baby fever... They had a nice little selection of shoes too! As well as two great sale racks. Of course I loved that.
Second they had had lots of gently used infant supplies, like nursing pillows, sheets, that sort of thing. They had some things like a rock-n-play, a hiking pack for infants and toddlers, and other things that you may buy for outrageous full price cost, somewhere else. They had an entire section of the store dedicated to children's toys (Sami got a super cute bag of wooden trucks and blocks) toys and books. A Wee Change not only had gently used toys and games, but some brand new ones. They had a section separated from the consigned toys for the new ones that were still in their wrapping. There were lots of fun books and puzzles that would be fabulous for a curious toddler or young learner.
Now, not only did they have a large section for children's clothes, but at the back of the store they have a section of women's, maternity, and juniors clothes. Many of the pieces were brand names and in great quality! They had a large clearance rack and a cute shelf display of shoes. There were also scarves and pre-loved jewelry, all in good shape.
The store itself was impressive, but the staff wasn't the most helpful. They seemed to be pretty preoccupied at the time, so honestly, that may not be the case all the time. I mentioned earlier that the shop itself is not very spacious so maneuvering with a stroller was a bit tricky. I am glad I was the only momma with a stroller there. It would have been more difficult had their been more people shopping with their little ones. The last little set-back was the dressing room which was kind of like half bathroom, half dressing room. It was very clean from what I saw, so it wasn't that big of a deal. It was just back to the limited space. Not a major deal, but just the honest truth.
Nevertheless, the selection of children's clothes was fabulous! I bought Sami three pairs of overalls and two pairs of shorts for $25, all great quality! And if you know anything about baby clothes, that's a steal! Sami has already worn four out of the five things and he looks so cute! I'm just loving it! ::insert kissing emoji::
I hope y'all get a chance to visit if you are a momma or your just looking for some new wordeobe pieces for yourself, around the Walnut Creek area. It's definitely worth a little of your time! Hope you find something great!
