Are you traveling for the holidays or staying home? We (Shell’s family) is headed to Phoenix again. The kids are getting so excited. Today we want to share two great holiday inspiration looks. And nothing says Christmas like a sweater. This lovely blush pink number is sure to turn some heads this Christmas. It’s chic, comfortable (yes, comfort is key with those Christmas hams and cookies) and just screams WINTER! This next look is for those of you who live in the warmer climates who would just sweat too much in a sweater.... it’s still swoon-worthy, but not quite as heavy. Isn’t she lovely? Any outfit would look fabulous on her. Hopefully one of these outfits inspires you if you’re still searching your closet for your Christmas Dinner ensemble. Sweater or sleeveless, quilted or pleated skirt, no matter what you end up wearing, even if it’s just a velour sweatsuit, spending this God-centered holiday, surrounded by those who you love and who love you is truly the sweetest part of Christmas. If you are struggling with loneliness and brokenness this season, we want to love on you and pray for you. You do not go unnoticed. Please contact us (find our info in the About Us section.) We love you, and we want you to know that God loves you too. Before we go, KD has prepared a beautiful list of holiday traditions for a single woman, living far from her home this holiday season. KD’s Favorite Christmas Tradition”This particular Christmas season I’ve been inspired to create my own traditions. As a single woman rediscovering who I am on this journey of singleness; I’m learning to push the limitations on the world and my idea of what I can design for my life! Despite living thousands of miles away from most of my family. I’ve built new relationships gained new family. It’s opened my mind, and heart to take risks and dream bigger.. So, the traditions I’ve come up with are: 1: Decorating the Christmas tree together with a new theme each year. 2: Matching pjs (if you’re living alone, doing it with your best friends or “new” family.) 3: Family Christmas portrait. (Even if it isn’t with your blood family.) 4: Decorating the house for the holiday season, while listening to Christmas music. Especially DIYing something new together as a family to add a special touch of holiday cheer unique to our family. 5: Binge watching christmas movies with the family the night before chritmas. 6: Adding a special ornament of significance each year. It’s amazing to look back and see the uniqueness of each year.” Merry Christmas our dear readers! May Jesus Bless you richly as we celebrate His birth. The beautiful incarnation of God joining our frail human race will give us all so much to celebrate! Check back with us next week for a beautiful NYE look, to inspire you for 2019! What?! 2019?! Crazy!
God bless, KD & Shell
