Hey Y'all! Happy Wednesday! I kept thinking yesterday was Wednesday so I'm kinda sad that today is hump day because mentally I'm already over the hump. Oh well, whatever! Hope this Wednesday finds you happy, productive, and maybe ready to get a bit creative with your outfits!
This look is one that I put on and don't want to take off. It's comfortable, it's flattering, and as per usual, it's got a vintage flair which steals my heart every time. I purchased these pants on sale at Cato for less than $10 and they have become one of my favorite bottoms. This top was thrifted at my fave consignment shop in a BOGO sale, so I probably spent about two bucks on it. It's GAP and looks brand new. The heels were steal for I believe one or two dollars at the beginning of summer. All together I spent less than $15 on the whole look.
Something that I really love about the over all look of this outfit, is that it's got a very feminine and classic feel. I love the oversized look of the tunic, while still being figure flattering. This is one of those looks that would have been in style 10 years ago and will be in style 10 years from now. The color combo is chic and charming too.
I added the belt because the top is a bit oversized (Because it was thrifted I didn't have the option to go a size down. I am usually a XS and this top was an S.) Thankfully, belts are one of those accessories that remain basically timeless, and the skinny belt looks great when you want to accentuate your waistline. Don't be afraid to tuck in a top or wear a belt around the waists. It doesn't always look good, but a majority of the time it does.
The Avila's are sending our love and prayers to FL! We love you! For all of those reading, please take a minute to pray for Florida. And if you want to go a step further, ask Jesus what you can do to help. It may just be prayers, it may be $$, I don't know. But God does know and He uses His people to bless others.
Have a wonderful Wednesday!
